HOPE 2008 made a massive difference in comunities across our nation. In villages, towns and cities across the UK the church rolled up its sleeves to engage with communities through projects and initiatives that helped improved a locality. In Calderdale several events were organised, banners went up on almost every church building and projects such as Food and Support Drop In were launched. 

Nationally and locally it was felt that the momentum that had been built needed to continue! The church is an agent of change - we are about more than singing a few hymns on a Sunday morning! HOPE Calderdale is set to become a banner that highlights and celebrates the people and communities whose lives are impacted by people who care for others.

There is HOPE for Calderdale and the church is part of that HOPE - through our actions, through our words and through the faith in God that motivates us to be difference makers we aim to carry on doing what we do and help make our Borough a better place to be....
